EiQ announces partnership with Open Supply Hub to enhance critical risk intelligence amid trade complexities

Optimising supply chain visibility through open data

EiQ, the industry-leading supply chain intelligence and risk management platform, is excited to announce a strategic data partnership with Open Supply Hub (OS Hub), a globally recognised source for open-access supply chain data. This partnership comes as global trade faces increasing complexity, and data-driven risk insights into sourcing markets are more critical than ever.

Through this partnership, EiQ will ingest nearly 1.3 million production sites from OS Hub into its media scanning tool, enabling businesses to:

  • Understand and analyse supplier risk profiles, including beyond-audit incidents detected through EiQ’s incident scanning tool
  • Connect sites to geographic and product risk scores for enhanced risk profiling
  • View OS Hub identifiers (the OS ID)s next to all production sites within the EiQ platform for easy reference and interoperability with other systems
  • Pre-populate traceability data to improve risk visibility and compliance reporting
  • Leverage EiQ’s generative AI for deeper insights into trade flows, disruption trends and supply chain resilience

EiQ’s AI-powered incident scanning tool continuously scans sources across multiple channels to detect adverse incidents involving suppliers. This solution blends advanced machine learning with human expertise to deliver near real‑time risk monitoring, and resolves the timelapse of standard, once a year audits. EiQ scans multiple sources including news search engines, local news sources, sanction lists, NGO sites and more. The integration of OS Hub’s site data will bring EiQ’s growing database to two million sites scanned regularly and will only further enhance clients’ capabilities to track, monitor and manage critical supply chain sustainability risks.

“This hyper-dynamic and accelerated sourcing environment is likely to be the new normal. This data partnership supports EiQ’s mission to empower organisations to be agile, data-driven and resilient, even amid the current complexities,” said Kevin Franklin, EiQ CEO. “By combining OS Hub’s data with EiQ’s AI-driven analytics and datasets, businesses gain the intelligence they need to drive business transformation and achieve total supply chain confidence.”

Griffin Shay, Growth & Partnerships Director at OS Hub, said: “By incorporating our open-source supply chain data into the EiQ platform, businesses will be able to better identify risks and challenges within their networks using a data-first approach.
“Only by being able to see the bigger picture - where global production locations are and who’s connected to them – will we be able to transform supply chains to be safer and more sustainable.”

At a time of radical trade restructuring, organisations need real-time, data-driven solutions to ensure supply chain resilience. By bringing OS Hub’s global production site data into EiQ’s ecosystem, companies can enhance risk management and improve responsible sourcing approaches with a data-first mindset.
