Gary Francis joins EiQ as Chief Technology Officer

EiQ has appointed Gary Francis as its Chief Technology Officer. Gary joins from Omnio, where he was Chief Product and Technology Officer. He's spent much of his career in technology leadership, building software platforms in regulated industries, most recently across payments and financial services, with a focus on data platforms and on how AI is changing the way engineering teams work.
The appointment reflects renewed investment in EiQ's technology, intended to further accelerate product development in line with fast-changing client requirements.
"The technology landscape is moving quickly and we're investing more to stay ahead. Gary joining EiQ is a key part of that step change – more skills, more resourcing, and a sharper focus on building for our clients, faster and with AI at the core. We've got the strongest data and a truly world-class team, and are excited to welcome Gary and his deep technical experience to the organisation," said Kevin Franklin, CEO, EiQ.
"Companies are being asked to prove things about their supply chains that were optional five years ago, and the evidence has to hold up. What drew me to EiQ is the combination of trusted, audited data and genuine on-the-ground expertise – that is a hard thing to build and a very hard thing to copy. I look forward to evolving this capability even further with the team," said Gary.
The move comes as the people responsible for supply chain due diligence broaden out, with legal and procurement teams working alongside responsible sourcing professionals, and as regulation and AI continue to reshape what these teams need. EiQ is expanding its product and technology in response.
